Data Synchronization between Joomla and HubSpot

Showbird, the largest live entertainment platform in the Netherlands, ran into limits with their existing system. Their platform, built on Joomla, did not have an integrated CRM, which meant:

  • Manual reports that took up a lot of time and resources.
  • Limited visibility of customer and artist data.
  • No way to efficiently synchronize data between Joomla and a CRM.

What Showbird needed:

  • One bidirectional integration that automatically synchronized customer, artist, and booking data.
  • Real-time updates between Joomla and HubSpot.
  • Access to a complete customer view including call history and booking details.
  • A solution that specifically took into account their unique data structures.

Solution

A Custom HubSpot Integration

By integrating Showbird's booking platform, Brandgang developed a fully customized HubSpot integration that perfectly meets Showbird's challenges.

Real-Time Two-Way Synchronization

  • From HubSpot to Joomla: Data is synchronized in real time.
  • From Joomla to HubSpot: Data updates are processed every 10 minutes, so the team always has up-to-date information.

Middleware Server

  • To ensure data reliability, we implemented a middleware server. It processes, validates, and transforms data between Joomla and HubSpot.

Custom HubSpot Objects and Relationships

  • For unique data streams, such as artists, customers, and bookings, we created custom objects in HubSpot.
  • This made it possible to show chat history between artists and customers in the HubSpot Activity Feed.

Advanced Search and Filter Options

  • With smart filters and a special search function, Showbird employees can quickly find records based on unique IDs and attributes.
